Get into the Holiday Spirit!

There’s no doubt this Holiday is looking a little different than most. With a global health crisis looming, it’s important to be careful, but still possible to get into the Holiday spirit in 2020. Here are some ways to let your Holiday light shine bright.

LIGHTS & FAMILY FUN

World of Illumination

It’s impossible to not be in the holiday spirit with driving through World of Illumination. They have two locations in Arizona with two distinct themes. In Glendale, you can have a rockin’ good time at their Rockin’ Christmas theme. In Tempe, there’s an Arctic Adventure awaiting you with spectacular snowflakes and polar characters. These drive-through light shows are fun for whole family and COVD safe.

Zoo Lights
The Phoenix Zoo is offering Zoo Lights, where you can walk (with masks) to see spectacular displays through January 31. There are walking and cruising tours available, but get your tickets now, as they are selling out.

Desert Botanical Garden
Las Noches de Luminarias 2020 is going to look a little different this year, but still promised to be merry and bright. They will showcase 8,000 flickering luminarias and twinkle lights through the property. This year, they have installed additional lighting in the garden to highlight the plant collection. You can still enjoy drinks, grab-and-go food, and reservations at Gertrude’s if they are still available.

Schnepf Farms
It’s a winter wonderland out at Schnepf Farms, complete with their Illumination Express, a train taking you though a “Christmas Light Spectacular”. It doesn’t stop there. Schnepf’s is offering a host of activities such as mini golf, Christmas Bonfires (call ahead to reserve a private one) complete with s’mores kits, cookie decorating, and so much more.

They are hosting an outdoor pop-up market so you can finish your last-minute shopping. If you’re feeling comfortable, they are also serving food inside at both Industry and Dark Hall Coffee.

Live music is taking place on the weekends at the Queen Creek location. You can grab food inside and then picnic while enjoying the bands and staying socially distant.
