Farmers Market Guide Across the Valley

Shopping at a Farmers Market allows you to support local businesses, gain access to a wide variety of organic, locally-grown foods, and enjoy family time in a safe, outdoor environment. Many of these markets have food trucks and activities for those who want to spend time wandering the vendors, but check websites as many are also offering online ordering and curbside pickup.

Half the fun of an outdoor market is wandering through the vendors, but during a global pandemic, some aren’t too keen on gathering. Uptown is now offering curbside pickup and delivery for those who aren’t wanting to shop in person. Once the pandemic is over, they move this market inside the church during the summer months, making it easy to buy local all year long.

Downtown Phoenix Farmer’s Market

May – Sept 8am – Noon

The Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market has undergone some changes since the pandemic hit. The once-popular Phoenix Public Market permanently closed its doors last September, leaving the space vacant. While you can no longer get a mid-week meal or local goods sold there Sunday-Friday, the Saturday market is still thriving. They also offer online ordering for those looking to pick up local goods without perusing the stands in person.
